the entire title of the book is practical scientific horseshoeing for leveling and balancing the action and gate of horses and remedying and curing the different diseases of the foot. by professor William Russell published in 1882. hardbound with illustrations. professor Russell was an accomplished and celebrated American farrier of his day. he also was a prolific writer and illustrator, dedicated to farriery as a science. some of the original print engravings from this book hang in the farrier offices at cal poly. both covers and the interior pages are fully bound and intact and the overall condition of this item is good.
